A Letter From The Founder
In the summer of 1992, I approached several Christian leaders and a dozen business people and challenged them to explore the Scriptural foundations for living and working in the midst of a changing marketplace.
Most of us felt that we were working in an atmosphere of profit at any price, leading us to feel a disconnect between our spiritual life and the realities of work.
For eight years we studied and shared our personal experiences. The Scriptures are saturated with the issues of business and commerce. We came to agree with author Paul Minear that the Bible is a book by workers, about workers, for workers.
