Don’t be fooled by the new look at InsideWork on June 30.
This is more than a new paint job. What’s under the hood is a web architecture completely reengineered to deliver our third generation of content.
InsideWork 1.0 was a standard turn-of-the-century website — traditional, fairly static and all about us and what we were up to (where “us” equalled InsideWork). Not a bad site but not a destination you’d need to visit very often.
InsideWork 2.0 replaced the home page with a “front page” featuring blog-style entries on everything from branding to worldview. We refreshed the front page with new entries — some of them time-sensitive, others exploring the core of our mission at InsideWork. In the process, we developed the InsideWork voice and built out a significant body of content.
InsideWork 3.0 is a media platform delivering all forms of content and interaction right down to the cellphone level. In the month ahead you’ll find a dynamic experience tailored to the way you live and the pace you keep.
If you want us to push content your way, we’ll do that through newsletters, briefings, twittering and RSS.If you want to join the conversation, you can follow us and we can follow you through microblogs and innovations we’ll say more about later.
If you want video, audio, discussion guides, individual learning tools…you’ll find all that and more in greater variety and quantity than ever at InsideWork.
What hasn’t changed is the InsideWork DNA. InsideWork identifies with a broadly distributed tribe of businesspeople learning to integrate biblical insight with business innovations that create value for our companies, customers and communities.
Our tribe is…
- spiritually engaged
- actively involved in commerce
- clustered in high tech urban + exurban business centers
- a mix of owners, executives + entrepreneurs, with a growing crowd of workers in their first decade of work
- intellectually alert
- techno-literate
- working from a global perspective on commerce
- disenchanted with culturally-defined religion and business as usual in the marketplace
- searching for biblically-informed solutions to business issues
- eager to network + collaborate with like-minded people (but not toointerested joining anything)
What InsideWork brings to the party is a business worldview informed by the great sweep and ancient wisdom of the biblical narrative. We begin every day with the biblical text in one hand and a business journal in the other, designing strategies to transform the soul of commerce.
So…

The first six people who respond on June 30, will receive a copy of Seth Godin’s The Big Moo (an InsideWork favorite).
