Art Imitates Life Imitating . . . Advertising

or something like that

The Million Dollar Homepage on which 22 year-old Alex Tew sold a million pixels at a dollar each (100 pixel minimum) in August 2005 has inspired(?) a real world analogue on the exterior walls of Amsterdam’s Sandberg Institute. You and yours can purchase space on 11×13 inch tiles for 25 bucks each. With any luck there will be heavy traffic on the surface streets and people will see your logo in the company of . . . all those other logos.

Philips has 260 tiles; Nike has 380; Apple bought 169; BMW, 100.

Actually, dragging my cursor over the Sandberg info grid was fairly amusing all by itself.

There is a business application in all this. When you find it, let us know.
