On the first day of school my girlfriend asked her new 4th grade class if they were nervous about meeting her and they answered "no." A little surprised, she asked them why not. They nonchalantly let her know that they had "googled" her before school started and already knew a little bit about her and what she looked like.
Most of us have conditioned our life and behaviors to work with many of the new technologies. But for nine year-olds, technologies such as Google are seamlessly integrated into their lives.
