Galatians 6: 7-10New International Version

We are told again and again that spirituality is strictly personal, strictly &ldquou;private”, a matter of one's “lifestyle”. This view cannot co–exist with the belief that our work belongs to our spiritual vocation: we are called to work as collaborators with God for the good of the whole family. Our work, like our worship, is a public witness to our vocation. Our work is not merely our own, but a calling to change the world, not through our own power or vision, but in cooperation with God's will.

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
