Most people would agree that Lee Iacocca, Joan of Arc, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Margaret Thatcher were all strong leaders. With some ingenuity, we could extract a list of common traits they shared -- although the more you know about any of them as an individual, the more doubts you are sure to have about the list. The irony is that the one thing that they undeniably have in common will not even be on the list -- that is, that each was the right person to lead a particular organization, society, or movement at that particular time.
He sent back this answer: "Do not think that because you are in the king's house you alone of all the Jews will escape. …too often I hear, U need this…that or the other in order to be either successful or outstanding mostly in the formal job market. Whereas I do not want to downplay the impact of an individual character and personality on performance or success. I think this is the wrong paradigm. The more important question for a Christian I think should be…."Now that I am here, what is my purpose here at this particular time? This will inevitably lead to what one needs to be and to do in order to fulfill the purpose for which we are at that particular time.
The tragedy is, that most of the time, we are on a Quest to distill as many character & personality traits from these forerunners often without a context.
We may end up with a large multi hued quilt;bits of this and that,….but without context…its really useless.
