II Timothy 4:6-7The New International Version

We must develop a compelling vision of later life, one that does not assume a trajectory of decline after fifty but recognizes this as a time of potential change, growth, and new learning, a time when our "courage gives us hope." Changes in life expectancy do not merely mean years added to the end, but an extension of the years of healthy and productive living.

For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
